The 1950s golf evening is being hosted by Shrosbree Indoor Golf and Performance Centre in Roden, near Shrewsbury, on Thursday 10 April from 7.30pm.
All proceeds raised at the free event, which has an optional 1950s dress code and will feature music of the era, will go to Severn Hospice.
BBC Radio Shropshire presenter, Colin Young, will be attending the event to help support Severn Hospice.
People will be able to play on some of the courses where 1950s golfing legend, Ben Hogan, won his historic treble in 1953, using Shrosbree Golf’s high-tech golfing simulators, and prizes will be on offer for the best fancy dress.
Tim Shrosbree, of Shrosbree Golf, said: “The 1950s was a golden era for golf and we thought it would be good fun to get dressed up in the big floppy hats and wacky plus fours, which were all the rage in the fifties, and raise some money for charity.
“We’ll be providing free canapes and drinks, and there will be nearest the pin competitions at Carnoustie and Oakmont in the simulator bays.
“The Severn Hospice is our nominated charity of the year and we hope to raise hundreds of pounds through events like this. It’s going to be a great night and we look forward to seeing plenty of people here.”
Shrosbree Indoor Golf and Performance Centre has three simulator bays which use the world’s leading technology to allow golfers to play on some of the most prestigious courses around the world.
The centre is at Rodenhurst Business Park on the B5062 at Roden, near Shrewsbury.
