Jenny Osborne works full-time in the Shrewsbury office of Henshalls Insurance Brokers and she has been nominated for an Exceptional Service Award.
Henshalls director Mark Freeman has put Jenny forward for the honour in the first ever Bizmums awards, which is organised by the local business networking group, and which take place on September 14, at The Lord Hill Hotel, in Shrewsbury.
He said: “Jenny is renowned for her excellent levels of customer service, and her reputation as a prolific networker. Her efforts have paid huge dividends in helping to raise the profile to the excellent level that has now been achieved, and we believe she’d be a worthy winner of the Exceptional Service Award.”
Jenny is a single parent working full-time office hours and also working out of hours from home, and she has worked hard to take positive action to tackle self-identified areas for improvement.
“She has enrolled on coaching courses for self-development in order to be more confident and in control, and her new skills have had a major impact on her working life increasing business, strengthening client retention and bringing in excellent recommendations.”
And Jenny’s success has come despite an ongoing battle with Epilepsy, which led to her losing her driving licence for 12 months, but she didn’t let that stop her.
“Even in the last few weeks, after her son suffered serious injuries in an accident, Jenny has been at his hospital bedside constantly, but still managed to ensure her clients were not neglected,” said Mark.
Her clients have also supported her nomination for the award saying she is “an excellent ambassador” for Henshalls, and that they wished there were more people in the business world like Jenny.
