Taking place between 8am and 9pm in Telford Shopping Centre, the charity which supports homeless young people in Telford, has lined up local performers including singers, bands, dance troupes and magicians.

The event will be the curtain-raiser for Stay’s Telford Homeless Action Week which will run between Monday 20th May and Sunday 26th May to raise funds, and awareness of Stay’s work.

Stay’s Director John Green is urging local people to come along to support the event.

“We’ve had fantastic support from local performers who are coming to join the party, including Shooting Stars Gymnastics and local indie rock band Only Human. This will be a real community effort to raise awareness of the problems associated with youth homelessness and the work done by Stay and other local charities, and a great way for local performers to showcase their talent, so we want local people to come along to watch.”

“The event will headline a week of fundraising that we’ve lined up to raise the awareness of homelessness faced by many young people in our area. We’re really grateful to everyone who is supporting us.”

Stay Telford provides housing and support services for 250 young people and families each year, who through no fault of their own, find themselves without shelter or support.
