One of the largest insurance brokers in the UK, with annual client premiums of over £70m, has recently announced the appointment of Laura Jarman as Branch Manager of their office in Shrewsbury. She will be supported by experienced Account Executive, Amy Downes.

Laura Jarman will join The County Group after over 21 years’ at Swinton Insurance, during which time she successfully headed up branches in Wellington, Wrexham and most recently, her home town of Shrewsbury. Her wealth of experience, reputation and connections in the local area make Laura the perfect fit for the role of Branch Manager at County.
Joining Laura, is Amy Downes who is also highly knowledgeable having worked at Swinton for 8 and half years. Predominantly, Amy was based at their branch in Shrewsbury but has also worked out of offices in Telford and Wellington.
The County Group, which specialises in both personal and business insurance, moved into Shrewsbury Business Park earlier in the year and already has a strong presence in the area. Laura and Amy’s extensive level of expertise, coupled with competitive rates from many of the leading insurers, is the ideal solution for local people and business owners who value the personal touch.
