Firefighters tackle chimney fire in Myddle

Firefighters were called to a chimney fire which had spread to the main property in Myddle last night.

Crews from Baschurch and Shrewsbury were called to the property at around 10.07pm.

Three fire appliances were mobilised to the fire with crews using two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a covering jet to extinguish the fire.

They spent over an hour at the property.
