Michelle Childs, from Ellesmere North Shropshire who is the founder of BizMums, a national social enterprise supporting mums in business was presented with the Rachel Elnaugh Enterprise Award at the Free2Network business awards in Llandudno on Friday evening.
Michelle said: “I am so delighted to have won this award. 3 years ago, just before I started BizMums, I was at this award ceremony but as part of the people helping to set up the room and handing out drinks to the guest. I couldn’t of imagined that 3 years later I would be winning an award and be running a national organisation. It’s been a whirlwind 3 years but recognition like this makes all the hard work worth while.”
The awards ceremony was organised by Free2Network and supported by award partners. The aim of the Free2Network Business Awards is to recognise, celebrate and promote the achievements of businesses and entrepreneurs from across the UK.
The Free2Network Business Awards are a great opportunity to reward businesses and to showcase their success stories. This glittering black tie event took place on Friday 20th November 2015 at the St George’s Hotel, llandudno with an auidence of over 150 guests.
Nina Sardar, founder and Director of Free2Network said: “These awards are the highlight of the year. Every nomination, finalist and of course winner has something to celebrate. These businesses really are the cream of the crop and show that Britain can be proud of its entrepreneurial spirit.”
