With tickets now on sale for V Festival 2015 orangisers have added more acts to this year’s line up including Sigma and The Charlatans.
Wretch 32, Echo & The Bunnymen, Hilltop Hoods, Lawson, Indiana, The Charlatans and Sigma have been added to the 2015 bill. They join a heap of music stars performing this year, including James Bay and Jess Glynne, who are both set to claim their first UK Number 1’s in the album and single charts this Sunday.
Ahead of their eighth V Festival outing The Charlatans front man, Tim Burgess said:
“Having been lucky enough to be part of the first ever V Festival line up in ’96 we’re thrilled to be playing its 20th anniversary year.”
Wretch 32 also commented:”This will be my hat trick appearance and I can’t wait to get out there and have some fun with my fans.”
The V festival is taking place across the 22 and 23 August 2015 at Weston Park on the Shropshire Border and Hylands Park Chelmsford.
The event, which has become a must for most festival goers, will this year be treated to an exciting line-up which includes Sam Smith, Calvin Harris and Kasabian, who will be joined by the likes of Stereophonics, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Ellie Goulding and Ella Henderson over the weekend.
Organisers promise more artists and the Glee Club Comedy Tent line-up announcements in the coming months.
