The Coracle World Championships, which has raised more than £350,500 for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity, will return to the River Severn in Shrewsbury in September.
A family has generously donated money to the Macmillan team at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, benefitting cancer patients and their families, in memory of their husband and father.
Those living with cancer and their loved ones are invited to drop into the new-look Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) in Telford, which is to be relaunched.
The Coracle World Championships in Shrewsbury is just days away with at least 39 teams competing for the winning trophy, nearly three years since the last competition took place.
