Business partners Sam Jacobs and Will Bourne are cycling from Shrewsbury to Amsterdam in August to raise money for two causes.

The duo will be raising money for Eden Reforestation Project which works with local communities to restore forests on a massive scale, thereby creating jobs for people often in extreme poverty, protecting ecosystems, and helping mitigate climate change.
They will also be raising money for Depher CIC, a Community Interest Company run by James Anderson, who are doing incredible work for people in the UK struggling with the cost of living crisis.
Depher CIC supplies emergency assistance to thousands of people in many areas of the UK, remotely assisting with the cost of emergency plumbing and heating, food, gas, electricity and more.
Sam and Will are riding on behalf of GrowRoom – the UK’s first fully sustainably focused digital marketing agency, based in Shrewsbury.
GrowRoom works with sustainable, responsible brands to grow their online presence, and as partners of 1% For The Planet, donate at least 1% of their revenue to environmental causes.
Sam Jacobs said: “It’s important for us to use GrowRoom as a vehicle to drive progress for green businesses in Shropshire and beyond. The company has grown quickly over the past year and we’ve delivered some exceptional results for some fantastic companies, so we just want to continue helping brands who are making a positive impact on the planet.”
All donations to the charity bike ride will be greatly appreciated, and GrowRoom is offering to match the value of every donation up to their target of £1,000.
