Wappenshall Wharf wins Heritage Lottery Fund support

Ambitious plans to restore the canal warehouses at Wappenshall in north Telford and create “Thomas Telford’s Wappenshall Wharf” received a boost today with an announcement by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) that it will support a full award of almost £1 million with a phase one award of £72,000.
