Gin Jamboree heading to RAF Museum Cosford

The Gin Jamboree is heading to Royal Air Force Museum Cosford at the end of March for an evening celebrating all things G&T!

With over 150 gins on offer including some of the world’s strongest, most expensive or just plain wacky, there is sure to be a gin for you just waiting to be discovered.

The evening will be accompanied by music entertainment, tasty food, gin masterclasses and a free G&T on arrival!

Guests will receive their own ‘goldfish bowl’ glass, to use throughout the evening as they work their way through the gin menu, it’s yours to keep allowing you to continue the gin experience at home.

Guests will also receive goodies on arrival including a tasting booklet describing the 150+ gins on offer with tips on the best tonic, mixers and garnish to pair with each of them.

Snacks and a delicious Louisiana-style Jambalaya supper are included in the ticket price, along with music, entertainment and a mixology team on hand to talk all things gin.

A tutored break out session will run throughout the evening for those thirsty for more gin (and knowledge). For just £10 per person, you’ll taste four premium gins and learn from the experts about how gin is made, the different styles of gin and most importantly, how to serve them….all delivered in a fun lighthearted way. As spaces to these sessions are limited, advanced booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Every gin offered at the Gin Jamboree evening is available to buy on the night by the bottle to take home. If you find one you like as you’re working your way through the menu, place your order with the mixology team and your bottles will be ready for you to collect as you’re leaving.

The Gin Jamboree bar operates on a token system and tickets can be purchased on the night. Enjoy two gins plus tonic and garnish, or four half measures if you want to sample twice as many, for just £12. But for those who really want to take advantage of the 150+ gins on offer, the super saver ticket allows you to try five gins or ten half measures for just £25.

All taking place inside the Museum’s impressive Hangar 1, handily located just ½ mile walk from Cosford train station, doors will open at 6.00pm and the fun will continue nestled amongst the aircraft until 11.00pm.

Tickets cost £20 per person and are on sale now via the Gin Jamboree website www.ginjamboree.co.uk. Ticket holders must be aged 18 and over.
