Local businesses, including many delicious award winning brands, will be exhibiting some of the region’s finest food and beverages. With everything from organic produce to handmade indulgences and thirst quenching beverages, there is sure to be something to suit everyone’s taste buds.
For the vegetarian and health conscious, the House of Hummus, will be serving homemade salads and hummus in warm pitta breads from their gorgeous little bunting-clad stall. Be sure to keep your eyes open for Clee Hill’s Richard C Swift Ltd. who will be supplying a freshly baked range of artisan breads along with health and dietary breads from soda to gluten free. The Ludlow Nut Co and their award-winning range of muesli, granola and porridge mixes, nuts and dried fruits will also make for a healthy tasty snack whilst you explore the stalls contained within the Festival.
Or why not try something different? Flavours from around the world include Shrewsbury’s Mukaase Foods Ltd who will be giving visitors a taste of the Caribbean with their homemade African-Caribbean food, sauces and wide range of spices. French Flavour Co. Ltd will be supplying a flavorsome mix of Artisan French food and drink, garlic, cider, pates, soups and charcuterie. Plus, Su Casa Spanish Cuisine will bring a touch of the Mediterranean with their freshly cooked Spanish dishes including paella, cocido and homemade empanadillas and a selection of tapas treats. Christina Daniels will be selling exotic meats that you’ll not normally find on the supermarket shelves ranging from Venison and wild boar to welsh buffalo and kangaroo.
Visitors with a sweet tooth can tuck into some of the delights brought to you by Wolverhampton company, Sally’s Sweet Oasis who will be selling traditional tray toffee, handmade fudge, Turkish delight, sweet trees and gift hampers. Chocoholics make a bee-line to Toot Sweets’ award-winning chocolatier Julia Wenlock who will be demonstrating all things chocolaty as she showcases some of her marvelous creations.
Ludlow Vineyard & Distillery are just one of the many thirst quenching beverage providers on board selling an array of wines, ciders, spirits, liqueurs and juices – so plenty to wet your whistle! We will also have the Juice Shack selling a fruity range of freshly squeezed juice drinks, perfect for a summer smoothie! And High Ground will be bringing along a wide range of premium coffees and their latest high octane, chili and ginger fired cola ‘Cola Rebell’ – definitely worth a try.
The Cosford Food Festival will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July. Admission is just £5 per adult which includes a free Cosford Food Festival programme containing everything you need to know about what’s going on over the weekend and who’s exhibiting.
Visitors to the food festival will also have access to the RAF Museum which is home to over 70 aircraft and the recently salvaged Dornier Do 17. Exhibitor spaces are filling up fast.
