Two teenage martial arts students have excelled at a recent black belt grading at Bridgnorth Tae Kwon-Do.

J Dang Baker and Jack Milner, both students at Bridgnorth Tae Kwon-Do, were tested alongside students from all over the country at the grading, which was held in Swindon on April 16th.
J, who is now 15, has trained with instructors Anna Bradford and Gary Plant since 2018.
Anna said: “J has progressed really well from the very start, and has moved through the grades seamlessly especially when you take club closures due to lockdowns into account.”
Following the grading, he was promoted to the grade of 1st Degree Black Belt.
Meanwhile, Jack Milner, aged 14 and a member of the club since the age of 7, was successfully promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt.
Gary said, “Jack is looking powerful and he is really dedicated. I’m pleased that he wants to work towards his next grade and he’s been coming to training in the mean time to help out with the younger students.”
Both boys intend to continue their training through the black belt levels.
Instructor Anna Bradford said: “Both J and Jack are assets to our club. They are focused and have shown a lot of maturity in the way that they both approached the grading. We are really proud of them both.”
