Vital funds will be raised for The Movement Centre in Oswestry from this year’s Brynkinalt Running Festival, which Kronospan has once again sponsored.
Chirk based wood panel manufacturer Kronospan is sponsoring the Brynkinalt Running Festival, which is taking place on Sunday 8 May 2022.
The trail running race is taking place around the Brynkinalt Estate and will be a vital fundraiser for The Movement Centre based at the Oswestry Orthopaedic Hospital. The centre works with children who have disabilities which affect their movement control and offers specialist training to improve strength and control.
Exciting fundraising event
Alan Lewis who is organising the event said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Kronospan again for our Brynkinalt Running Festival which offers runners the chance to run 5k, 10k or 20k. Runners will experience amazing views around the Brynkinalt Estate and have the opportunity to raise vital funds for our charity partner which is The Movement Centre.”
Curtis Langley who is the fundraising and Marketing Officer from The Movement Centre added: “We are delighted to have the support of Kronospan for the second year, for our event Brynkinalt Running Festival. It is fantastic to be working with Alan to deliver this great event, for local people. The Movement Centre rely on the kind support of local business and individuals, raising vital funds towards our work.”
