Bridgnorth Golf Club held their Captain’s Charity Mixed Open, which was a great success with 34 Pairs from 12 different clubs taking part in a Mixed Greensomes Stableford competition.
The event was organised by Jane Jasper who thanked her helpers and all those taking part, especially those players who gave donations to the Captain’s Charities, which raised £193.52.
Barbara Talbott, set up her boot sale of home made jams and pickles and raised £137 for the Captain’s Charities, which are Age UK Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, iCan2 children’s charity & Oak Farm, Ditton Priors.
The course and greens were in excellent condition and the weather was kind, which all helped to see some good scores, with the first four places going to Bridgnorth members.
