Bridgnorth Golf Club run successful ladies weekend AMAM Open

Bridgnorth Golf Clubs Ladies Weekend AMAM competition attracted 68 ladies from golf clubs as far afield as Halifax.

Those taking part entered in teams of 4 with the best 2 scores to count on each hole with full handicap allowance.

The weather was far from ideal and with the river swollen following over a week of rain, it was amazing that Bridgnorth managed to present a full 18 holes and although the riverside holes were a little soft going, the greens were in excellent condition, which reflected in the good scores.

There were 6 twos : Bridgnorth GCs – J. Reade, V. Statham, L. Davis & H. Fowler. Worfield GCs – V. Holdnall and Enville GCs – M. Evans.
