Waddell established AFC Ludlow’s official YouTube channel after the club’s 3-1 defeat against Penkridge Town in the West Midlands League Division Two.
He admitted feeling anxious when he arrived at the Showtime Stadium for the match.
Waddell said: “When I arrived at the ground – I felt nervous. I met the manager Dave Cooper; and we talked about what I would film. He then went off to get ready for the game.
“I spoke to the chairman and others around the ground. We spoke about football, so I couldn’t really complain!
“I met a local photographer, who gave me good advice about taking some photos.”
For Waddell his interest in the media came from his parents.
He said: “I became interested in filming, when I was quite young. My parents are both photographers, so I was always around cameras growing up.”
Cooper’s men made their mark on Waddell, despite their 3-1 defeat.
He said: “Considering AFC Ludlow had a few players out. I thought they played well. I know the interview suggested AFC Ludlow didn’t play well; but I was impressed.
“It was really close in the second-half, before Town put the third one in and then the contest was over. Let’s hope they have more success against Team Dudley this weekend. I plan to film that match, and my club documentary will be completed by the end of the month.”
