Firefighters were called to a property fire on St Mark’s Drive in Wellington last night.
Two fire appliances from Wellington and an operations officer were called to the fire at around 8.48pm.
The fire involved a freezer in a domestic garage.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The fire was reported to have been extinguished by 9.21pm.
