Cyclist dies in collision near Albrighton

A 78-year-old cyclist has died following a collision on the A41 near Albrighton on Sunday.

It is believed a mini SUV collided with the cyclist at around 11.20am at the crossroads with Shackerley Lane and Rectory Road.

The male cyclist from Penkridge died from his injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam is asked to email nathan.johnson@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident 205 of 20 November.
