Emergency services were called to Horsehay Pool in Telford during the early hours of this morning to rescue a man from the water.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police were called to the incident in Horsehay at around 12.36am.
A 26-year-old man was rescued by water first responders using a ladder and taken to hospital via land ambulance.
Five fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Tweedale and Wellington.
An Operations officer was also in attendance.
