A woman was rescued from the River Severn in Shrewsbury last night after entering the water.
The woman had entered the water near the Castle Walk footbridge in Castlefields at around 9.49pm.
Three fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington with an Operations officer.
The woman was rescued before the arrival of emergency services.
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
