Fourth man given football banning order after FA Cup tie disorder

A fourth man has been given a Football Banning Order for his involvement in disorder at the FA Cup tie between Shrewsbury Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Liam Haynes, 23, from Shrewsbury was given the three year banning order after he pleaded guilty to two public order offences. He was also given a fine and costs to pay.

The offences happened after the Shrewsbury v Wolves match on Saturday 26 January.

Police say there were several instances of disorder and violence by fans inside and outside of the ground with several arrests made on the day and subsequent investigations into criminal offences committed during and after the match have continued.
