Two people became trapped in their vehicle after it left the road and ended up in a hedge in Market Drayton on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened on the A53 near the Gingerbread Man at around 5pm.
A man and woman were released from the SUV by firefighters using specialist holmatro and tirfor equipment.
Fire appliances from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington attended the scene along with an operations officer.
The Midlands Air Ambulance also attended with West Midlands Ambulance Service.
West Mercia Police officers closed the road for a time.
