The newly refurbished Shopmobility facility at Telford Centre is now open and features a dedicated Quiet Room.
Opened by members of the Telford Autism Hub, the all new refurbished Shopmobility unit which is located on Red Oak car Park, has a new layout, new décor, new furniture, blinds, new soft furnishings and a brand new service desk. And in addition, a new dedicated Quite Room has also been added.
The Quite Room has been included to help all customers with additional needs. It includes dimmed lighting and soft furnishings and will soon include bean bags for children. The room also provides a quite space for people affected by autism if they require some time out from a busy shopping environment.
Whilst the new Shopmobility and Quiet Room services are now open, work is taking place behind the scenes to provide a refurbished accessible toilet facility which will be open soon.
