Car ends up on roof in Shrewsbury crash

A busy Shrewsbury road was closed for a time today after a car ended up on its roof following a collision.

The collision happened outside Robsons Stores on the Ellesmere Road in Greenfields at just after 12.30pm.

Emergency Services were called to the scene with the road being closed for some time whilst the vehicle was recovered.

Shropshire Fire and Rescure Service says one person was released from the vehicle and left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service.

We understand that the person suffered no serious injuries.
