A man was led to safety following a fire in Babbinswood, near Oswestry overnight.
Firefighters were called to Fitzalan Close at around 3.45am this morning.
The fire involved a hedge which had spread to a property.
A 74-year-old man was led to safety by firefighters.
The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a 45mm jet.
