A man suffered minor injuries after becoming trapped in machinery at a factory in Shrewsbury this morning.
The incident happened at Salop Design and Engineering Ltd on Brixton Way at around 10.40am.
Workers at the company managed to free the man who was given first aid before the arrival of an ambulance and did not suffer any serious injuries.
Christopher Greenough, Director at Salop Design and Engineering Ltd said: “There was a minor accident, we called an ambulance – but the emergency service got mixed up with the detail, and the fire brigade also attended. They were not required and left. The worker is OK.
“Both I and Salop Design take our H&S responsibilities very seriously.”
