A woman in her 80s is believed to have suffered critical injuries following a two car collision on the A41.
The crash happened on the A41 between Albrighton and Tong around 4.40pm yesterday.
A silver BMW X6 was travelling along the A41 towards Tong and a grey Peugeot 208 was travelling in the opposite direction when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Peugeot, a woman in her 80s, was taken to Birmingham Queen Elizabeth hospital with what is believed to be critical injuries.
No-one else was injured.
Enquiries are currently ongoing but police would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident or people who saw the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven prior to the collision.
