His brother Gino said: “My brother Cristiano was taken from me and his family too soon. He was kind at heart, funny and a loving father to his daughter. We will miss his cheeky personality which made him capable of making everyone around him feel alive – and that is how we feel in our heart and soul, that he will always be alive.

“I can hear his voice, see his smile. We, his family and his friends will miss him always, we will never forget him.

“He is at home now with his mum and dad where he belongs. The pain will pass, the memories will never fade. Thank you for being my brother, we will never stop loving you.”
