A man who was found unwell near Shrewsbury on Friday has been identified following an appeal by police.
West Mercia Police this morning issued an appeal for information to trace the identity of the man who was found at around 11pm on Friday on the B5062 between Roden and Shrewsbury.
The individual’s next of kin have now come forward and West Mercia Police would like to thank those who shared the appeal.
The man who is thought to be aged between 25 and 30 years old was found by a member of the public who was concerned for his welfare as the individual was found unwell but with no visible injuries. He gave him a lift in his car but the man fell unconscious during the journey, ambulance services were called and the man was then taken to hospital.
He currently remains in hospital in a serious condition.
