Police are continuing to investigate a fatal collision on the A41 in Tong during the early hours of Sunday morning.
The collision involved a black Mini Cooper and a blue Toyota Yaris at around 1.10am.
The Mini was travelling northbound towards Newport from junction 3 of the M54 and the Toyota was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Toyota – a man in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers, also in the Toyota, were taken to hospital.
A man in his twenties was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed until 18 February.
