A driver has suffered a cut lip after being punched in the face by a cyclist in Worfield, near Bridgnorth.
The driver, a man in his 60s in a Vauxhall, was stationary in Main Street, Worfield, when the incident happened between 10am and 10.10am on Tuesday 10 November.
He had previously been driving ahead of a group of three or four cyclists. After the vehicle stopped one of the cyclists is reported to have approached the car and spoken to the driver before punching him twice to the face, causing a cut lip. The cyclist then left in the direction of Worfield church.
He is described as a white man, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, and of muscular build. He was wearing a white or grey short-sleeved top and black cycling gloves.
