Police are appealing for witnesses and information following yesterday’s fatal collision near Hadnall.
The collision took place on the A49, Acton Bank, near to Hardwicke Garage at around 3:20pm.
A white Vauxhall Movano was in collision with a black Ford KA, and also involved another white Vauxhall Movano when travelling along A49 from Hadnall towards Whitchurch.
The driver of the Ford Ka, a 32-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the first Movano, a 40-year-old man, received a minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The driver of the other Movano, a 63-year-old man and his passenger a 60-year-old woman, both received minor chest and back injuries that are not believed to be life threatening or life changing and were taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital to be checked over.
Police are eager to establish the circumstances of the collision and ask for anyone who witnessed the incident, or the vehicles leading up to it, to call 101 quoting incident 381S of Wednesday 26 August.
