Royal Air Force Shawbury today welcomed a new Station Commander with the arrival of Group Captain Jason Appleton.
Serving almost 25 years with a helicopter background and being stationed at the unit during 1993-94 as a student and then again in 1999 – 2001 as an instructor, he is no stranger to Shropshire.
Group Captain Appleton is delighted to be back in Shropshire and is looking forward the challenges the new role will bring.
