Six injured in three vehicle collision on A41 at Tong

Emergency services have this afternoon been dealing with a collision on the A41 at Tong.

The collision involving three vehicles happened at just before 2pm close to The Bell Inn.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service report that six casualties were being dealt with by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Firefighters from Albrighton and Telford Central made the vehicles safe using small gear and Holmatro cutting equipment.

The road was blocked by the collision with traffic in the area reported to be very busy.
