Shepherd Construction are currently underway with work rebuilding and remodelling the remaining five secondary schools in the Council’s Building Schools for the future programme.

Councillor Paul Watling, cabinet member for children, young people and families, said: “The signing of the contract for the new primary academy in Lawley is welcome news.

“The new academy will provide much needed places for local children in a growing community.

“We welcome REAch2 WM to Telford as the sponsors of the academy.

“REAch2 WM told us that they are keen to establish a base in Telford and look forward to working closely with the Council and the local community on the remainder of the scheme.”
