Police officers made the discovery at around 1pm today.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are continuing to formally identify the deceased, however, the family of missing Shrewsbury man Andrew Warren have been notified of developments.

Mr Warren, 50, had been reported missing on May 24, having failed to be in touch with his family or friends since May 17.
A report is being prepared for the Shropshire Coroner and an inquest into the death is expected to be formally opened and adjourned later this week once formal identification has been completed.
