Wet weather leads to cancellation of Burwarton Show

The extreme weather over the past few months, coupled with heavy rain which hit South Shropshire two days ago and the poor weather forecast for the coming weeks, left the main organising committee with no option but to unanimously agree on cancellation of this year’s show late last night.

Organisers say the showground conditions are such that it would be impossible for our contractors and stewards to safely set up the infrastructure in time for the Show to take place on 2nd August.

Exhibitors, competitors, judges, stewards and anyone else involved with running of the show are being contacted over the next few days regarding the cancellation.

The show will return as normal next year.
