People are being encouraged to attend the exhibition which will be on display in the old Library building between 1pm and 6pm on Friday 25 November.
The display will show the final designs for the regeneration of Market Street and Oxford Street.
Consultation has been carried out right from the beginning of the proposals and the community has been actively engaged in the process.
Oxford Street as it currently looks.Oakengates Town Council established the Oakengates Regeneration Working Group which is chaired by Steve Wood, the Mayor of Oakengates Town Council. The group has been instrumental with gathering the views of local people and steering the regeneration in conjunction with Telford & Wrekin Council.
The final design is the product of the David Orr 2010 consultation, its interpretation by the regeneration working group and guidance from Telford & Wrekin Council.
Cllr Richard Overton, Cabinet Member for Borough Town Development & Policy, said: “The exhibition of the plans that will be on display on 25 November are a culmination of a great deal of work by many people to aim to get a project which would provide much needed regeneration for Oakengates.
“I am pleased with the plans and would invite anyone who has been involved in giving their views, as well as local residents and those interested in the regeneration, to go along and see what Market Street and Oxford Street are going to look like once the work is complete.â€
