Two parents from Shrewsbury are launching a family club targeting 21st Century busy families and their need for choice & flexibility.
ClassyBee Family Club, will focus on creating a social hub and support network for parents that fit in with their busy schedules of daily life.
The club offers 18 different signature classes a week with a packed timetable which aims to give members a great variety of activities, enabling them to switch things up whenever they like! The classes will have something for everyone and include postnatal fitness and baby & toddler classes.
The club’s Operations Director, Holly Crippin, said: “As a mum myself I was disappointed in the lack of choice available in the area, and fed up with losing out on money I had paid when my baby was ill. As mums we want to our children to explore as much as possible, but that is not always possible financially and when both parents have busy schedules, I wanted something that fitted around us, offered us choice and didn’t want to pay through the nose! This is where the club was born.”
With the UK postnatal-depression rates on the rise, it is important to be sociable when you have children for both mum & dad. The club social hub plans to hold weekly coffee mornings with free coffee and cake for members at a popular café situated in the town. In addition there are monthly dad days out, plus a monthly guest speaker with talks on topics like calm parenting. With Holly commenting: “We want to ensure members feel like they are getting their money’s worth!”.
“We are offering something really unique & special to the community, we want parents to enjoy their paternity/maternity leave on their terms” expressed Lee the Managing Director of ClassyBee Family Club.
ClassyBee Family Club launches in Shrewsbury on 6 November.
