Tickets are selling fast for Welshampton’s much-loved annual show, with one of the four scheduled performances already sold out.

Based on a unique script created by local writer Richard Jones and billed as a theatrical performance with panto elements, Hoodwinked offers a riotous burst of colour and imagination in mid-February.
Ian Andrew, director of Hoodwinked, is delighted with preparations for this year’s panto.
“We’re very much looking forward to staging this spectacular half-term treat for all the family. A high level of dedicated work from every member of our merry band – whether involved in set design, music, acting, costume-making, or ingenious prop creation – is ensuring that our local spin on the Robin Hood legend will hit the bullseye for our audiences.
“Tickets for the Sunday performance have already been snapped up and, given our tradition of sell-out performances each year, we’d advise booking now to avoid disappointment.”

In this year’s show, Robin Hood and Maid Marian are joined by a host of characters determined to foil the evil plans of the villainous Sir Nigel Nicely and his snivelling sidekick, Captain Gifford.
Springing to the rescue of the over-taxed and underpaid locals, Robin and his gang must enlist the help of the Sheriff’s daughters, Toot and Flute, to unmask Sir Nigel and restore peace and prosperity to the neighbourhood.
