Halloween Bonfire and Firework spectacular 31/10/15

Fireworks and Bonfire in Shrewsbury.

On Saturday 31st October celebrate all things ghostly and of course the gunpowder plot at the Greenhouse West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury.

The fireworks will be provided once again by the renowned Kimbolton team who are responsible for the fabulous displays in London on New Year’s Eve and at the end of each day at the Shrewsbury Flower Show.

A range of food and drink outlets will be readily available across the showground and the presence of a local live band will help us all to get into the Halloween and Bonfire Night mood.

Gates open at 5pm, bonfire lit at 5.30pm and fireworks from 7pm.

Adult entry is £5 and accompanied children just £3 A family of two adults and three children will gain entry for just £15.


Oswestry Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Event – 31/10/15

The largest firework display in the Oswestry area as the Town Council and Treble Niners come together for the 27th consecutive annual bonfire and fireworks evening.

The event will be held at Brogyntyn Park, at the rear of Oswestry Fire Station on Saturday 31st October commencing at 7pm

Admission is £5 for adults and £1 for children.

Over the years some £60,000 has been donated to local good causes from the evening. The purpose of the event has been to provide an organised and safe family event at a low cost for families and at the same time try and raise funds to support local organisations.

This year the display will be fired by Fantastic Fireworks supported by the Treble Niners. The professional display allows for a bigger and better range of fireworks to be used.


Haughton Hall Bonfire and Fireworks Display – 31/10/15

Gates open at 5.30pm for this Halloween themed event which includes: Bar, Music, Fair Rides, Food Stalls and a Halloween fancy dress competition.

Tickets: £5 Adults, £4 Child on the gate. Free parking.


Allscott Bonfire & Fireworks Display – 31/10/15

Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks from 7.30pm.

Entry is £2 for adults and kids under 12 are free.

Location: Allscott Sports & Social Club


Oakmeadow School Fireworks Display – 05/11/15

The skies above a Shropshire village will light up as the community marks bonfire night and raises money for charity.

The Friends of Oakmeadow School will host the event on November 5 from 5.30pm at the school site in Lythwood Road, Bayston Hill.

The charity is run by members of the school PTA and more than £2,300 was raised at the bonfire celebrations in 2014.

Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy fairground rides, a glow stall and glow in the dark face painting as well as a BBQ and jacket potato stand, sweets and popcorn stalls and mulled wine and cider.

Advance tickets, which are £10 for a family of two adults and two children, £2 for a child and £3.50 for an adult, are available from the school reception or The Beeches in Lythwood Road. Gate prices are £12 for a family, £3 for a child and £4 for an adult.

The gates will open at 5.30pm and the fireworks are set to light up the skies at around 7pm.


Longden Village Fireworks Display – 05/11/15

For the last 25 years Longden village has held its annual Fire Work Display on the 5th of November – and this year will be no exception! In fact its’ going to be bigger and better than ever before.

“We are making a couple of changes this year,” reports Malcom Evans who is Chairman of the Longden Village Hall Committee which hosts the display, “the Fireworks will start earlier, at 7.15pm making it easier for parents with younger children to attend and new this year, to mark the quarter centenary, there will be market stalls inside the Hall. Local Businesses from around the Village will be demonstrating and selling their wares, which is a great way to bring the Community together whilst providing all round family attraction.”

The Fireworks Night itself relies on volunteers from the Village who pull together to run the event with all proceeds going towards the upkeep of their beloved village hall.

“We charge a nominal entrance fee of £3 for adults and £1 for children and then there is a good choice of refreshments; tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot dogs, baked potatoes etc and a licensed bar” says Malcolm.

“Even the wood for the bonfire is donated by local residents and businesses who see it as a great opportunity to clear their garages and gardens.”

The Longden Village Firework display opens from 6.30pm on Thursday 5th November with free parking around the village. Longden village is situated on the Longden Road; about 5 miles south of Shrewsbury towards Pulverbatch and Bishops Castle.


Shifnal Cricket Club Fireworks Display – 05/11/15

A grand fireworks display at Shifnal Cricket Club with music, food stalls, craft and fairground attractions.

Gates open at 5pm with the fireworks display at 7.30pm. Entry costs £4 for Adults and £3 for Children, under 5s free. Tickets are available from Katrina’s.

**There is no parking available at the venue**


Dearnford Bonfire, Fireworks and Lanterns – 05/11/15

Dearnford Bonfire and Fireworks Night are back by popular demand on Thursday 5th of November 2015 but this year there’s a fantastic Lantern display following the fireworks.

Expect super sensational fireworks across the lake followed by a shimmering silver Lantern display by Fizzgigs – plus their wonderful sculpture show.

As usual, there will be all the fun of the fair and plenty of outdoor catering.

The format will be as usual: A Sound sensitive display at 7pm for younger children with no loud bangs and the main display at 8pm. The lantern show begins at approximately 8.20pm.

Gates open at 5pm, which will be followed by the bonfire being lit at 6pm.

Prices: Advanced Tickets: Adults £6.50; Children (14 years and under), £3.50. Family (2+2), £18. Available until 4pm on Wednesday 4th November. All advance tickets must be collected.

Prices on the night: Adults, £8; Children (14 years and under), £5. Family, £24. Children three and under, free.


Bonfire & Firework Display at Wem Sports and Social Club – 05/11/15

Wem Sports and Social Club Bonfire & Fireworks Display is on Thursday 5 November 2015.

The Bonfire is lit a 6.30pm with the Firework Display starting at 7pm.

Admission charges – Adults £3 Children over 5 £2 Senior Citizens £2 Children under 5 free Refreshments available – No sparklers.


Bonfire and Fireworks at Madeley Cricket Club – 06/11/15

Enjoy a great bonfire and fireworks display at Madeley Cricket Club, Park Street, Madeley, Telford.

There will be lots to do and see. Hot food, drinks and entertainment. Gates open at 5.30pm with admission at £2 for Adults and £1 for Children.


Family Fireworks at Blists Hill Victorian Town – 7/11/15

See the night sky spectacularly lit up over Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge on Saturday evening, 7th November when the townsfolk will be celebrating Guy Fawkes’ foiled Gunpowder Plot with a fantastic family fireworks display.

The gates open at 6pm allowing plenty of time to explore the Town’s Victorian streets and atmospheric buildings. As you make your way down to the Village Green for the show, you will be able talk to the costumed residents in their cottages, shops and other places of work and hear about life in the late 1800s. In the Foundry, you can see molten iron being poured into moulds during the dramatic iron casting demonstration. The highlight of the night will be the fantastic fireworks extravaganza accompanied by music, which will start at around 7.30pm and light up the night sky.

This popular fun and safe family event takes place between 6pm and 9pm. Tickets are priced at £9.75 adults; £6.50 children aged 3-15 years and £29.95 for a family of 2+2, under 3s free. A joint family ticket for the Fireworks Night and Ghostly Gaslight Halloween evening on Saturday, 31st October is just £53.50 (2+2). Tickets must be purchased in advance either online or from any of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums or the Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre.

Visitors are advised to park at the Ironbridge Park and Ride, located at the top of Jiggers Bank (TF43QE) where a regular bus service will take them to the event for a small fee. Limited parking is available at Blists Hill Victorian Town.

All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, tickets will not be available on the gate; Ironbridge Gorge Museum Passports are not valid for this evening and dogs will not be allowed. The Gorge is easily reached via the M6 and M54 motorways exiting at Telford (M54 junction 4 or 6).


Church Stretton Bonfire and Fireworks – 07/11/15

Gates open 6.00pm, Bonfire lit 7.00pm, Fireworks 7.30pm

Fireworks at Wellington Cricket Club – 7/11/15

Wellington’s annual fireworks display will take place on Saturday 7th November.

Aside from the main display you will find the usual selection of fun and games, fairground rides and stalls, food and refreshments, the popular mulled wine tent and two public bars.

Entry is paid on the door and will be £6 for adults and £2 for under 14s. Gates open at 5:30pm.

No car parking is available on site. Wellington CC ask all those in attendance to be mindful of and considerate to local residents.


Weston Park Bonfire & Fireworks – 08/11/15

Visit one of the regions largest and most spectacular bonfire celebrations with entertainment for all the family.

The evening starts with the Free Radio Roadshow with fun and games with the Breakfast Show DJ’s. The giant bonfire is lit at 5.30pm with two fantastic displays rocketing into action at 6pm and 7.30pm.

There is plenty on offer with a fun fair, food stalls and licensed bar all set in 1,000 acres of Capability Brown Parkland.

Gates open at 3pm, Bonfire lit at 5.30pm, Firework displays at 6pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets & Prices: £15 per car – up to six people – when booked in advance. £18 per car – up to six people – on the gate.


Donnington Bonfire – 14/11/2015

A night of thrills, spills and fireworks.

Gates and Fun Fair open at 4.00pm, 1st Firework Display at 7.00pm, Bonfire lighting 8.00pm, 2nd Firework Display 9.00pm.

Due to Health and Safety restrictions people will not be allowed to bring their own sparklers or fireworks. Those that do will have them confiscated.

Admission £2, under 5s free – Parking £2.00 on field per car with Money from car parking fees goes to Sea Cadets.

Location: Broadoaks Field, off the A518, Telford. Please note: Wellington Road, Donnington will be closed except for access to car parks.
