Events2Scare.com has created The Woodland of Terror, an overnight horror themed camping experience for one night only.
The event is set to take place overnight at Hawkestone Park Follies on Saturday 4 October 2014 and runs until 7.30 Sunday morning.
The night is set in a mystical and legend filled historical woodland, amongst medieval ruins and monuments, built over 200 years ago. One of the prime features being an underground cave system that legend has it was once used by King Arthur and the Knights of the Templar.
Those brave enough to take part will be greeted by their host on arrival and taken to the campsite, then the experience will not cease until you leave the next morning.
Participants will find themselves working in small groups or couples and will be given dares, challenges and objectives to complete, teamwork is essential as only the brave will survive. Those that remain in the campsite will encounter other horrendous things to keep them occupied.
The professionally organised night uses a team of staff and scare actors, realistic special effects, props and costumes to create the ultimate terrifying experience.
Organisers have also warned that the night is not suitable for people with certain health conditions, such as Heart Disorders & Heart Conditions or sufferers of Claustrophobia. Participants will need to have a moderate level of fitness as the experience does include walking a little hilly terrain to some scare scenarios from the campsite.
Hot and cold drinks and a hot meal will also be provided throughout the night and those taking part can decide how extreme their experience gets by their choice of tent zones, The Chicken Zone or the Hell Zone!
Those campers that survive the night will be escorted back to reception at 7am for refreshments and a light breakfast ready to return home!
