After another successful year and with a record breaking number of events this summer, Ludlow Fringe Festival is inviting everyone who came to this year’s Fringe Festival to share their views with the team.
The open meeting, which is free and open to all comers, will be held at the Ludlow Brewery on Wednesday 16 October at 7.30pm
This year’s festival was a great success with over 100 events – from art to music and from poetry to comedy – taking place in Ludlow.
Anita Bigsby, a local artist and project organiser, led the team for this year’s Ludlow Fringe Festival and said:
“The reaction to the Fringe Festival has been fantastic Our team is brilliant and we’ve already achieved so much but we’re keen to make it even bigger and to get even more of the local community involved.
She added: “All of us working on the Fringe Festival are volunteers, its great fun and offers opportunities for meeting with like-minded creatives. We need volunteers with all sorts of skills and talents to help take the Fringe forward so come along and meet us! We’re a friendly bunch and we’d love to meet you on the 16 October!”
Highlights from this year’s Fringe Festival line-up included: fantastic comedy nights with Lucy Porter and Joe Lycett; jazz from rising star and local lad Liam Dunachie; Sarah Moule’s Femme Fatales night of jazz and song; cabaret with the internationally renowned La Bordello Boheme; Poetry Party, a weekend of top poetry, workshops and more; legendary rocker Steve Gibbons singing the songs of Bob Dylan; and the Big Lit Weekend, a celebration of writing, writers and books
