Tickets for folk concerts at The Hive music and media centre have proved so popular many of the shows have almost sold out!
The concerts officially launched in September with a performance by Jackie Oates and this month will see renowned US nu-folk group Crooked Still taking to the stage in a concert which sold out over three months ago!
A Hive spokesperson said “The Hive has some truly fantastic musicians performing with us as part of our new monthly folk concerts, with particular highlights being Kris Drever on November 21st, Jon Boden on February 13th and Chris Wood on March 13th in addition to other great names such as Bella Hardy and Jez Lowe.”
Tickets for the concerts, which all start at 7:45pm, can be booked by calling the Hive on 01743 234970 or by visiting the centre at 5 Belmont, Shrewsbury, SY1 1TE. People are also encouraged to take a look at the Centre’s website www.hiveonline.org.uk for more information.
