An innovative leadership scheme is helping to boost Shropshire’s community.

Award-winning business consultants Good2Great developed the Entrepreneurial Leadership Programme, a new way of approaching management of organisations across the county.
“This is a unique and transformative five-month scheme for business leaders,” explained Michelle Jehu, head of people development at Bridgnorth-based Good2Great.
“It is helping leaders become better entrepreneurs by developing the skills, mindset and confidence to steer their teams with clarity and turn great ideas into lasting success.
“During the last five months we have worked with a large range of businesses and groups to develop strategies which will enable them to thrive in the future, including offering places to local organisations as part of our work to boost the economy and help the Shropshire’s community,” she said.
One of these is Visit Shropshire, the organisation which promotes the county as a tourist destination.
Visit Shropshire project lead Mark Hooper said: “Participating in the Good2Great Entrepreneurial Leaders Programme has been an immensely valuable experience.
“The course offered strategic insight and practical tools that are directly applicable to my role. It has enhanced my approach to leadership and long-term planning and provided a fresh perspective on driving sustainable growth within Shropshire’s visitor economy.
“I would highly recommend the programme to professionals seeking to strengthen their leadership capability and deliver meaningful impact. “
The next Entrepreneurial Leaders Programme will start in September.
