Companies attending this year’s Shropshire Business Festival will be able to access free expert legal advice from leading law firm Lanyon Bowdler.

Solicitor Jasmin Begum, who recently joined Lanyon Bowdler’s dispute resolution team, specialises in general and commercial litigation, and will be among the firm’s legal experts sharing their knowledge at the event on March 6 at Telford International Centre.
Shropshire Business Festival brings together business leaders and emerging talent to network, make important B2B contacts and have some fun along the way. Last year’s hugely successful event was attended by more than 700 businesses who benefited from the wide-ranging networking opportunities, seminars and talks.
Lanyon Bowdler will be at the festival with a range of experts to impart advice, alongside fun games of hoopla and offering guests a free doughnut.
Andy Pegg, head of the dispute resolution team at Lanyon Bowdler, said: “Shropshire Business Festival is a major event on the calendar and we are delighted to be involved. We think it is extremely important to play a role in the community and support local events like this.
“We recently welcomed Jasmin to the firm and she is already establishing herself as a valuable addition to our dispute resolution team in Telford. Jasmin jumped at the chance to represent us at the festival and is looking forward to getting involved with some of the many amazing businesses we have in and around Shropshire.
“These are difficult economic times and there is a level of uncertainty at the moment about what the future holds, but we have a thriving business community here in Shropshire which will be well represented at the festival.
“Jasmin will be on hand to advise businesses on a wide range of legal issues that could arise and will be sharing her insights on credit control, including how to avoid debtors and what to do if businesses have outstanding debts.
“Like all of our lawyers, Jasmin is very approachable, easy to talk to and is really passionate about helping clients overcome the legal challenges they face with the best possible outcomes. So if you are going to the festival, pop along and say hello to Jasmin and the rest of the team, we would love to see you.”
Jasmin added: “I am delighted to join Lanyon Bowdler, one of the most respected law firms in the county, and am settling in well to my new role serving clients in and around Telford.
“I look forward to meeting members of the local business community at the festival on March 6, answering any questions and addressing any concerns they may have.”
Other legal experts on Lanyon Bowdler’s stand at the business festival will include head of the private client team, Edward Rees, corporate law solicitors Abi Croft, Jemma Groves and Cecilia Wong, along with Debbie Ray of the debt recovery team.
