Shropshire Chamber of Commerce has been described as ‘a force for good’ by Shrewsbury MP Julia Buckley after discussing the progress of local businesses at the organisation’s annual general meeting.
“It’s always a pleasure to check in with the Chamber of Commerce whose members do so much for the county’s business community,” said the MP.
“So, I was delighted to attend the Chamber’s AGM on Friday, an event at which I discovered 2024 had seen more than 343,000 engagements with its members, they’d hosted 46 network breakfast clubs, and seen more than 2,500 attendees across 64 events.
“The AGM at Hawkstone Hall and Gardens served to further invigorate our already enthusiastic and hard-working business community,” said Mrs Buckley.
“The Chamber supports every size of business from sole traders and small and medium-sized enterprises to multi-national and international businesses. It’s fantastic in building connections and relationships that are so important to the success of any business. Shropshire Chamber of Commerce really is a force for good in our county.”
