Local Accountancy firm, ChadStone Accountancy & Tax is taking part in the Thames Bridge Walk to raise vital funds for Cancer Research, marking the firm’s 10th anniversary.
The team, led by Directors Dave Leddington and Alex Stone, has committed to this 25km walk across London’s iconic bridges, uniting for a cause close to their hearts.
Dave Leddington, who signed the team up for this challenge, shared his enthusiasm: “Reaching our 10-year milestone is a huge achievement for us, and we wanted to celebrate it by giving back.
“Cancer Research is doing incredible work, and is a cause that has touched all of us here at ChadStone, so we’re determined to support them as much as we can. By participating in the Thames Bridge Walk, we’re not only challenging ourselves but also supporting the incredible work being done to combat cancer.”
The Thames Bridge Walk will take the team from Putney Bridge to Tower Bridge, passing landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. The 25km route is an opportunity for the team to have quality time together away from the office and raise awareness for a crucial cause.
To prepare for the challenge, the ChadStone team has been diligently training with daily lunchtime walks. This routine has increased the teams’ fitness and bond ahead of their upcoming challenge.
Alex Stone, co-director of ChadStone, highlighted the team’s dedication: “Our lunchtime walks have been fantastic for team building and getting us all in shape for the big day. It’s inspiring to see everyone come together with such enthusiasm and determination to support Cancer Research. We’re committed to raising as much money as possible and making a meaningful impact.”
