A brand new networking community for women in business has launched in Shropshire to support, inspire and nurture!
Two local business women from Telford have joined forces to create a ‘hive’ for women in business to provide support, inspiration and opportunities through local networking. The core of the group is a strong moral compass with an ambition to be more human and less corporate. Ditching corporate doesn’t mean losing professionalism. Mel & Kim strongly believe that you can run a successful business and retain a ‘realness’ and authentic vibe.
The aim for The Hive, which will be open the 2nd Tuesday of every month, is to provide a friendly and nurturing space for women in business to network, be inspired, take part in masterclasses and training.
You are guaranteed to be met with friendliness, support, guidance and encouragement from fellow Queen Bees. We are all each other’s teachers and students and when you bring women in business together, there is always lots to be learnt and magical things can happen!
Kim, one of the founders says “We are so passionate about bringing something different to the area in terms of a networking group. This isn’t just about passing your business card around a room, the aim for our group is for it to be community led, so the content we share and the guest speakers we bring in to help people, are relevant and of value. We simply want to support local Women in business to succeed.”
What can you expect from the Queen Bee Networking Group?

– A range of Guest Speakers to bring the group motivation & inspiration.
– Masterclasses throughout the year to help women with new skills such as Marketing, Business Management & Strategy Planning.

The group is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at The Creative Training Space in Wellington 10.30am – 12pm.
